BOSTON (WHDH) -Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney appear Saturday that the club has recalled goaltender Jeremy Smith from the Providence Bruins on an emergency basis. Smith is accepted to accompany the aggregation for their
approved division afterpiece vs. Ottawa today.

Smith has played in 17 amateur in 2015-16 with Providence, accumulation a 10-5-1 record, 2.15 goals adjoin boilerplate and .929 save percentage. Last season, the 26-year-old net minder played in 39 amateur for Providence with 22 wins, a 2.05 goals adjoin boilerplate and a .933 save percentage. The 6’0”, 177-pound goaltender aswell ranked fourth in the AHL in goals adjoin boilerplate and third in save percentage.

Smith has appeared in 23 amateur in 2015-16 with the Iowa Wild of the AHL, bearing a 5-14-3 record, 2.94 goals adjoin boilerplate and .911 save percentage. In 40 amateur accumulated with both Providence and Iowa this season, he ranks 11th in the AHL with a .918 save percentage.
