WELLINGTON: New Zealand Cricket (NZC) issued an apology to Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) over playing the sound of a cash
register during Mohammad Amir’s arrival into the ground during the third Twenty20 game at Wellington, ARY News reported.

According to details, the announcer played the sound of a cash register during Amir’s appearance into the field during the third T20 game which created a furore.

New Zealand Cricket’s Chief Executive David White said that the announcer was issued a warning over his attitude.

“Such incidents will not take place in the future”, White said.

The announcer also issued an apology to the cricketing board over his behavior.
