It's the 14th annual National Dog Show is presented by Purina and will be hosted by actor John O'Hurley. Expert analysis will be offered by David Frei, an American Kennel Club-licensed judge and host of USA Network's Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. NBC's Mary Carillo will report from the benching area and inside the show ring. Tara Lipinski and Johnny Weir also join the show as reporters and digital contributors.
The show will feature more breeds vying for Best in Show honors at the Kennel Club of Philadelphia competition. An encore presentation will air on NBC on Nov. 27 from 7-9 p.m. CST.

Dogs will be judged in three rounds – best of breed, best of group and the ultimate award, best in show. Seven new breeds - Bergamasco, Spanish Water Dog, Miniature American Shepherd, Lagotto Romagnolo, Berger Picard, Cirneco dell'Etna, and Boerboel – will be added to the show, bringing the total number of featured pooches to 199. Last year's winner was Nathan, a Bloodhound.

One change this year, as accepted by Movie Fone, is that this year’s National Dog Appearance will acquaint seven new American Kennel Club (AKC) dog breeds to the show. The new dog breeds cover the Bergamasco (a sheepdog accepted for a different covering of hair), Spanish Baptize Dog (known for hunting, herding and baptize work), Miniature American Shepherd (a baby herding dog accepted for it’s activity and intelligence), Lagotto Romagnolo (a able retrieving baptize dog with a close coat), Berger Picard (an able-bodied herding dog with a furry cape and close undercoat), Cirneco dell’Etna (a hunter of baby mammals and fowl that is carefully accompanying to the Pharaoh Hound), and Boerboel (a able alive dog with a blocky head). Pugs accept spirit, yes they do! Watch the National Dog Appearance Thanksgiving Day on
